Finding Poetry in Art

For me poetry can be expressed in so many different ways. A dance to beautiful music, written word, open mike with new poets passionately reciting their words. But, sometimes poetry can be found in tangible art. In the texture of canvas, the way the colors play off each other in one piece. Even the way things are layered in collage. The art piece below is poetry I created that at first really felt rough and sounded out of harmony. So, I set it aside. Recently I took another look and found the harmony that I had missed. It finally speaks to me the way I intended it to when I first created it.
