What is Death by Caffeine? Death by Caffeine is art (caffeine) for your brain. For me art is as addicting and stimulating like coffee. Providing a rush of creative energy with a tasty explosion of color. And this blog is a venue to share some of my art, thoughts and ideas.
Who am I? Well, that’s a hard one to sum up. I’m really nobody special. Just another person who enjoys art and playing with a camera, paper, paints and glue.
What have I done? In the past I’ve had an opportunity to do a lot of fun things in the craft industry. I’ve had the opportunity to meet some well known people, like Becky Higgins (even though I had no idea who she was when I met her. My close friends know what I mean.. hahahaha) It was many years ago and some sites/companies have closed. But, it was definitely a fun and creative time.
What am I doing now? What am I not? I went to school with fine art photography as a strong focus. Many years and I still miss the smell of the darkroom. I’m intertwining that skill with my mixed media art. Currently, I’ve only provided artwork to private estates. I’m hoping with a bit more time I’ll have the opportunity to create some pieces for a show. Other than art, I run a small couture invitation company and a separate division of rubberstamps.
